Plans for Office: As President, I would love to provide TJCLers with more exciting opportunities to get involved, perhaps in with collaboration with other organizations involved in the Classics as well- which I have started to explore as Historian last year with the Nashville Parthenon. I want to collaborate with the other awesome members on the board and state chairs, helping each officer carry out their plans to the best of my ability, and also would love to send out questionnaires to chapters for feedback about TJCL as well! I plan on communicating regularly with the rest of the board, through email and meetings to keep everyone informed and updated about our progress and plans. I can’t wait for another amazing year with TJCAs President, I would love to provide TJCLers with more exciting opportunities to get involved, perhaps in with collaboration with other organizations involved in the Classics as well- which I have started to explore as Historian last year with the Nashville Parthenon. Plans for Office:

My plans for office include hosting virtual events that get many people from across Tennessee and other states involved. In the event that our state convention is in person, I hope to host a very fun, spirited convention, which it should be since it will be our first time seeing each other in over two years! In the event that it is virtual, I still hope to make it a very silly, spirited convention with many happy people involved. I would like to increase excitement as we near local and state conventions with silly videos on social media, as well as helping out whenever and wherever I can with the Tennessee JCL board and her delegates.

Plans for Office:
I want to use the Constitution to lower the barrier of entry for JCL to get more people involved. I also want to get more input from chapters on the election process to make sure it is as fair and reliable as possible. I also want to use my powers as Parliamentarian and those of my fellow officers to increase the membership of JCL.

Plans for Office:
I plan to maintain the website as it has been in the past but also to level it up and make it more comparable to the websites of other educational organizations. In addition to my duties as the manager of the website, I want to draw in much more participation within the TJCL throughout the year in order to allow for a much grander convention. To do this, I will advocate to as many fellow Latin-takers as possible and encourage them to do the same. My goal is to have state convention attendance reach an all time high.

I definitely want to make an awesome scrapbook for us, and I also want to help update our social media and website. I'm planning on making a traditional scrapbook with lots of fun interactive elements! I would love to help connect chapters across Tennessee in the process of making our scrapbook through submissions and other projects as well. One of my goals is to help each chapter feel like a true part of our TJCL community. I'm also thinking of potentially making a guide to TJCL scrapbooking for future historians down the road :)
