TJCL Events & Contests
1. Academic Tests - Latin Grammar (1, 2, 3+), Reading Comprehension (Latin 1, 2, Advanced), Latin Vocabulary (click here for TJCL Vocabulary list), Latin Derivatives, Mythology, Roman History, Roman Life, Latin Literature, Hellenics, Classical Art, Ancient Geography, Academic Heptathlon
2. Certamen - Novice (1/2 and 1), Intermediate (2), and Advanced (3+) levels, each divided into two divisions of play

3. Graphic Arts - acrylics & oils, charcoal & pencil, sculpture, pen & ink, watercolor, models, posters, textiles, maps, photography, pastels, mosaics, mixed media, miscellaneous, banner, chapter t-shirt, chapter scrapbook, Cinema Romana, promo video, and chapter website.
4. Creative Arts - costume (male/female mythological, historical, inhabitant; group costume), poetry, essay, advocacy letter, vocal performance, dramatic Latin, English oratory, skits
5. Olympika- chariot race (facilities and weather permitting), toga relay, aqueduct relay, javelin toss, Tog-a-War.
