Section 1. Candidacy (and Applications)
Note: See section 2 for qualifications for TJCL office candidacy.
Applications for office must be sent to the TJCL Parliamentarian
Pre-filed applications: applications that are received at least five weeks prior to the day of the NomCom meeting at the TJCL Convention
Other applications:
Switching Desired Offices:
Candidates may switch their desired office as long as their switch is to an office which has received less than two applications and as long as it is received by the TJCL Parliamentarian at least two weeks prior to the day of NomCom.
If the NomCom selects fewer than two candidates for a TJCL office from among those who submitted an application prior to the NomCom, then nominations from the floor at the NomCom may be considered for that office.

- Will be given priority in all cases, including at NomCom
Other applications:
- If fewer than two candidates have submitted pre-filed applications for a TJCL office, additional applications will be accepted for that office
- Must be received by the TJCL Parliamentarian at least two weeks prior to the day of NomCom
