Name of Organization: Tennessee Junior Classical League (TJCL)
Purpose of the TJCL:
1. To gain a more thorough knowledge of Roman and Greek life, history, and literature;
2. To understand the practical and cultural value of Latin
3. To interest other students in classical languages and civilizations.
Symbols: The emblem, pin, and colors are the same as the national organization (NJCL)
Official publication of the TJCL: The Tennessee Torch
Highlight: Section 3. Robert’s Rules of Order.
The current edition of Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised governs the TJCL operations when applicable.
