The results from the 2006 TJCL State Convention have been updated. Affected sections include Academics, Academic Sweepstakes, and Overall Sweepstakes.

The 2006 TJCL State Convention has come to an end. Visit the convention page for the competition results and a summary. The new executive board will be updated soon, and the most recent Torches will be uploaded soon.

State of Emergency in the Offices of: President 1st VP 2nd VP Secretary If anyone is interested in running for these offices, please attend the Nominations Committee Meeting at convention with your sponsor.

Some hotel information for the state convention has been posted on the site. You can find links to it under TJCL Convention or Sponsor's Resources. OR you can click here to go directly towards the link. Please note the "last updated" line to make sure that hte information is accurate. Currently this information is good as ofr 04/03/06.

Many more forms and information booklets have been uploaded under "Sponsor's Resources." When I say many, I mean many, so I won't list them all here. Check out the section for the new documents.
Also, an important note. The "Forms" section of "Sponsor's Resources" has been split into two parts. The parts are for forms that need to be SENT in PRIOR to the convention (check the "TJCL Convention" section or the forms themselves for deadlines) and for forms that need to be BROUGHT to the convention itself.

Somehow, when the State Convention Info booklets were printed, some of the latest changes made were not saved. Thus, pages 2, 3, and 5 ended up with significantly wrong information. The corrected version is now available under Sponsor's Resources for printing. There will also be copies of the corrected info booklet in your convention confirmation packets that you receive after I get your registration. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Two deadlines have been changed. Certamen forms, Tech Coordinator forms, and Historian & Torch Editor forms are all due on Saturday, April 1st, now.
Also, the long-awaited convention packets were mailed out on Monday, Feb 13. Each school should receive one packet regardless of the number of sponsors. Additional forms/packets can be downloaded from the website or requested by emailing chair@tjcl.org.
